Mutual aid request for Ladder 554

On Thursday,July 18, at 0426 hours,Oyster Bay Fire Dept responded to a mutual aid request for Ladder 554 from the Glen Cove Fire Department. Along with Assistant Chief Bellissimo, Ladder 554, manned by Ex-Chief Mantegari, Ex-Chief Baratta, Nick Baratta, Tom Rahilly, and Matt Keena went to work at 34 Ridge Dr.  

The building involved was a one story ranch house with heavy fire in the rear and cockloft area. Oyster Bay firefighters went into action pulling ceilings and exposing hidden fire. Ladder 554 went back in service in Oyster Bay at 7 am.
